Ebadur Rehman is a quiet and determined man. He has worked in many of the most highly regarded meat companies in India, occupying senior positions with responsibility for food service. Today Ebad, brings 'aliana', this experience to the company he started eleven years ago and still sits down to a breakfast meal with his staff at the old Formica table in the factory in India.

Aliana’s Premium Quality Meat started out as a small butcher shop on narrow Street in Delhi. India It was early 1996 and retailing meat was quite a challenge. Ebad and his son had a feeling that they either needed to get bigger and better, or get out. Ovais still talks of this decision today, and the pride in the decision is still evident. For 3 months, Ovais would take 41 flights in a lift to Level 41 restaurant Worldwide .The delivery consisted of 6000kg of chicken for stock. It took time, patience and perseverance.

Ebad and his son had a feeling that they needed to either get bigger and better, or get out.
